My question, spawning from nothing but my own thoughts, becomes this...
is ministry a concious act? or is it something you do, that the love of Christ compels you to, just as breathing is compelled by the spinal cord?
How this relates to worship is this, worship, in my life is a lifestyle. It's not that I haven't ever smoked weed because I made a decision not to.... its because in my fulfillment in Christ I have never DESIRED IT.... Same with alcohol.... I don't want it... people act like i want it but can't get it, when it's the exact opposite. This spawns completely from the fact that the love of my GOD doesn't leave me wanting that.... I must ask if ministry is the same way?
My first noted act of ministry was two nights ago.... I did nothing but give a card for FREEDOMCHURCH to a person I had just recently met.... but in talking to a friend, it was little things, like showing how much fun it can be to live free of chemical addictions... TO THIS DAY I STILL SEE JAWS DROP WHEN THEY HEAR I'VE NEVER SMOKED, DRANK, AND I AM PROUD TO SAY I AM A VIRGIN
Is that ministry though?
Any thoughts out there?

Beginning.....
John 1:1-5(NLT)
In the beginning was the WORD
and the Word was with God
and the Word Was god
He existed in the beginning with god
God Created everything through him
and nothing was created except through hinm
The Word gave life to all that was created
and his life brought light to all
Thelight sines in the darkness
and the darkness can never extinguish it
I thought I would start things off with two things, number 1) the way God did, with the Word, and number 2) by explaining the title
with number one accomplished, I'll illustrate number two
ever look at clear pools of still water?
see how pretty the images are when the water is still?
like how you can see clear to the bottom and everything that's under the water?
now throw a rock in there and get some nice movement and ripples?
Picture distortes till all you can see is the waves....
That's the way i am, you can either look at me as the energy you see on the surface, or you can plunge underneath, to that world of imagery under the water.
So please, stick around, you might learn a thing or two....
